7 YEARS WITH YOU

Thank You Jesus for 7 sweet years of knowing You… For these first 7 years of my eternity with You. When I look back, all I know is Your goodness and faithfulness. Even in the toughest, loneliest, and most heartbreaking times, I see that it was always Your heart unlocking and pushing me into deeper levels of trust in my heart. Even in those times, I can only recall Your kindness… Your gentle correction, Your clear leadership, Your unwavering truth, and Your strong love.

Father, I ask that I would confidently know all of those things in every season of my life. I do not want to know Your lovingkindness only in retrospect; I want to know the fullness of Your joy and steadfast love, even in the very moment when I am in the fire. Continue to teach me how to delight within and during each battle with the assurance of Your victory. Continue to reveal to me the treasure of waiting for You and relying on your Word before going to anything or anyone else. Continue to show me the unmatchable and incomparable reward of loving Your will and obeying it… That all of these things, You call me to for Your glory and even for my sake. You have Your best in mind for me, and these 7 years speak to that clearly. Thank You Lord for the testimony and story You are continuing to write out. You are awesome.
