FREEDOM

[In a time of discovery]

Freedom that is not hard-pressed by the thoughts or judgments of man. 

Freedom that is not bound by the lie of lack.

Freedom that does not permit condemnation or shame when I miss the mark. 

Freedom that is not searching for fullness or completion in a person.

Freedom that is intimately acquainted with the identity of a daughter.

Freedom that can press onward, hoping and believing in what is ahead.

Freedom that is content in every circumstance (joy or pain) because Your omniscience has called it “good”. 

Freedom that is only found in the finished work of the cross.

You have shown me the kind of freedom I am missing, so I now know what I need to pursue.

It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
